Adam Eason, hypnotism and NLP on itunes
One of my clients is a guy named Adam Eason who is a hypnotherapist extaodinaire!
First though a bit of background about myself to put this article in context.
My background is nursing and I spent many years in various London hospitals. As you can imagine nurses meet a rich and varied cross section of the public at large. I really enjoyed my life in the Health Service while I was at ward level but quickly lost interest when I moved into management and the politics of it all. My only criticism of the hands-on caring days was the narrowness of our focus. Doctors and nurses are far too often guilty of dealing with the symptoms as displayed and caring for the physical rather than a holistic approach.
I do wish I had med Adam during those years as I am sure I would have taken a different approach. By watching his approach and results I am agog at the changes and improvements he makes to so many peoples lives. What a gift! I am now a strong advocate of hypnotherapy as the answer to soooo many physical and mental conditions.
My only experience of hypnosis before meeting Adam were stage shows, you know the stuff, grown men clucking like chickens and similar nonsense. The shame is that this has put perceptual barriers in the way when discussing the therapeutic powers of hypnosis.
Paul MacKenna originally a stage hypnotist here in the UK is now at last dealing with the benefits that hypnosis can bring to peoples lives. In a recent television series he has tackled a whole range of phobias, addictions, physical problems, and mental disorders.
If you want to learn more about this fascinating subject I suggest that you do go to Adam's site and sign up for his Ezine, blog or podcast. He is passionate about his subject and there is no better source of information.
I will be re-visiting this subject again.
Toodle pip!
